The Transform Programme
Commitment towards building productive relationships!
Transform is the high risk mentoring division of The Centre For Conflict Transformation or TCFCT. Transform has been engaging with high risk offenders in community settings for several years, helping them to move away from their previous lifestyles, working with them in areas such as access to work, education, housing and family support.
Our offices are based in the west midlands area and provide services across this whole region as well as the East and Southern areas too.
Our staff possess many years of experience of working with offenders and understand the challenges to those who have offended and wish to move their lives forward in a positive way as well as the challenges this brings to agencies and communities alike.
In terms of enabling productive relationships with service users and producing outcomes which are tangible, Transform offers a range of services which are packaged depending on the individual needs of the service user.
These are:
- ‘Mentoring-Plus’ 1-1 support
- Support in sourcing suitable education, training and employment opportunities and/or maintaining these life chances/opportunities.
- Structured Family support
- Access to sports development and opportunities for career based training
- General engagement activities
- Working with specific Registered Social Landlords regarding accommodation
- Access to therapeutic support
To make sure that we provide the best service possible to service user and commissioner, the organisation and its staff adhere to some key principles of working, they are:
- Commitment towards building productive relationships
- Professionalism
- Persistence
- Consistency
We believe if you apply these principles and approaches to working with this most challenging of client groups, the chances of success are significantly increased.
